Peacock Lane, established in 1929 is Portland’s oldest Christmas and Holiday light attraction and display.  Located in south east Portland just between Belmont Street and Stark Street and just east of Cesaer Chavez Street (formerly SE 39th Ave).  This street is lined with mostly Tudor style homes and all of the houses are decked out with lights, nativity scenes, rotating Christmas Trees and so much more.  It’s truly a spectacle that has to be scene in person.  Opening night is December 15th and is open through December 31st from 6pm to 11pm.  The street will be closed to all vehicles and only open to pedestrian traffic on December 15th, 16th and 17th.  Portland City Police may close the street on other nights and plan ahead for traffic and parking.
